Today things have been absolutely peachy! This morning my mother and I got up and went to Panera and then hit a garage sale where I got my first adult baseball glove. I know this may sound strange, but I am left handed and those things are expensive!!! I also got a yellow Pyrex bowl for only 50 cents!!!! Then we went across town to Target where I bought a couple of yellow throw pillows for my bed next year. Here's what my comforter looks like.
So I have officially decided on black, gray, white and yellow. Its going to be so pretty!! :)
At Target I also bought some towels and washcloths for the new house!
Well, tonight I want to finish my Instagram project and Karasyn and Melissa are coming over! Yay!
A lady at work tonight was talking about how her niece got married last weekend, and we started talking about weddings and planning and everything. So, because it's summer now and I have nothing better to do with my time, I compiled a small folder of images that inspire my own dream wedding.
I really want to have a fall wedding, like in between Halloween and Thanksgiving. I love the pastels and bright colors that come with planning a spring/summer wedding, but because I have terrible allergies and don't plan on sweating like a pig at my own wedding, I think fall would be the best season for a wedding. I love the leaves changing colors and dream of having an outdoor wedding. My ideal place for a wedding would be in the front yard of my Hottie Grandma's house with the reception in the back yard. It would be free and convenient! I have so many ideas! I think I will save them for a post on another day.
So here is my fall wedding color palate.
I saw this on a blog and fell in love! I want to be an eye doctor so it's perfect!!!
I definitely want to incorporate pumpkins into the decore somehow. Maybe as the center pieces, or something else. But it's going to happen!
Here are three picks for my favorite dress! I really like the lacey halter part of the bottom right, but I like the idea of lace sleeves in the bottom left. My favorite part of this top one is the gathered skirt! They are so beautiful!
I want my bridesmaids to wear this purple color and hold orange gerber daisies for their bouquets like the one next to it.
This bouquet could be a pretty center piece.
Finally, this is my perfect bouquet for myself! It has pretty roses, gerber daisies, and deep purple calla lilies! My FAVES! the only thing I would change is the light orange roses to deep gold/mustard roses, but other than that it's perfect!
Anyway, I don't know why I'm on a wedding kick all of a sudden, but maybe this song could explain part of it lol :)
I am so bored and tired right now. I am over half way done with my week though! Yay! The other day, Mom and I planted flowers at our house, which was a little silly considering it was my only day off from the greenhouse this week. Anyway, things will be SO much better next week! Dad is home for Brandon's 8th grade graduation and I won't be working as much.......hopefully.
Aren't they pretty ?
Anyway, my dad had a job interview today and I am praying that he gets it! He used to work with the guy hiring, so I think he has a good chance! If he does get it, my little brother.........
this cutie!
is going with my dad for the next two weeks and then my mom and I will have to go up to Wisconsin to get them. Which means that we are going to take an extra day or so to go to Chicago!!! And eat at Giordano's!!!! WOOOOO!
Anyway, I really hope he gets it so my mom doesn't have to be alone next year when I move on campus! It would just be such a better situation.
I'm super stoked about getting some Boca Mocha tonight with Karasyn and Melissa! We have to catch up!!! I hopefully will remember to take some pretty pictures this weekend and post. I'm getting a little bit better at this Instagraming lol
My school year is officially over. Yeah, I know my last final was last Wednesday, but I just can't count the school year over until the grades are posted and I no longer need to worry about them. So I really have had a great week. Last night when I got off at the greenhouse, I met my mom, brother, meme and papa at Braum's for dinner and ice cream :) When we were leaving a guy came up to my brother and I asking if we wanted to buy a rose from him for a dollar. You have to give him some credit at least for not standing on a street corner with a sign, but anyway. My brother said no thanks before I even comprehended what the guy said. But we got into the car and before my brother could sit, I had to move the Biggest Question DVDs I had from our Saturday night evangelism. Then it hit me! I need to give one to that guy!! So we drove over to the library where he was at and I asked him if he had access to a DVD player. He did and I told him that I would give him a dollar if he promised to watch the DVD for me. I was so excited! It was the first time I had ever given one out on my own without it being an event with my college group at church or being with another person. I just happened to have them and God gave me the opportunity to share one! So that made my whole evening!
This morning I woke up and I thought I would check my grades to find out what I had gotten in Organic Lab, cause last semester it was bad. It was my first B in college. Anyway, I woke up to find this:
I got all A's and one A- in Organic Chemistry!!!!! Yeah! For being the worst semester of my life (so far) it wasn't too shabby!!! It totally made me pumped for next year. Next year I am taking 18.5 credit hours. Yikes! I am a crazy person!
Speaking of crazy person..... I am working 52 hours this week combined between the funeral home and the greenhouse. Fortunately, I am off tomorrow all day from both and I have church, which is always a great part of my week. I am going to spend it sleeping in, hopefully going to the Spring Creek Tea Room with Mom, and then the mall. I am so blessed to not only have money to do stuff, but two jobs that want me to work. I wasn't neccessarily looking at it that way yesterday when I got off of my eight hours shift at the greenhouse, but a lot of people would kill just to have a job period. Well, that's about all that's new with me this week. I really want to Instagram some flower photos this week. They are looking gorgeous!
Have a great week and good luck to those with finals!

So, I worked for 8 hours yesterday at the greenhouse and I was so tired afterward. Then, I met a bunch of people from our college class at church to go witnessing at MSU. It was the first time that I had actually gone and said anything and it was amazing! I have a lot of things I want to pray about and witnessing puts things into perspective a lot more. You don't just put off praying till when you go to bed or eat, you do it right then, because who knows if you will get the chance later? So, I got home around 11 last night and then had to be at the funeral home at 8 this morning. I am telling you, I am tired! Physical labor is hard stuff! I forgot! I just hope that I don't have to work quite as often the rest of the summer, because I really don't need that job. I just want to work like 3 days and right now I'm on, like 5. :( It's my summer! I still need some time off. I mean, yeah, it's mindless work that's welcome after a year of hard classes, but I need some physical rest too. Also, I have to miss the mother daughter banquet at my moms church next saturday and I am just really sad cause I haven't told her yet.
So today starts my studying for the MCAT. I have all the neccessary materials.
So I am going to get on that now :) Maybe after some lunch....
So I started working at the Greenhouse yesterday. It was a bad idea to start the first day with an eight hour shift. My feet hurt and I was so tired! I hadn't done that in forever!!! On the other hand I forgot how great it was to be outside and work with living people lol
So today I worked a four hour shift and am now at the FH chilling, finally. I definitely got sunburnt today. It wasn't very sunny and I only put on sun screen once. Oops! My neck and ears are sunburnt the worse. I guess tomorrow will be a T-shirt day.
Here are a few pictures that I never did put in instagram, like I wanted to. Now that school is out I don't feel like it's a complete waste of time!
This was the sunset on my friend Ryan's birthday at his house.
The man in my life :)
Cool signage!
I made these yummy veggie kabobs and Dad completely ruined them! He overcooked them :(
So I took my first lecture final today. I did alright. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if I had an A in the class, but I have and A- and it definitely didn't help me. I just hope my professor takes pity on me and my insane schedule and gives me an A for effort.
So tomorrow morning is my zoo final, which out of them all I feel most prepared for and then WEdnesday is my organic final which is just a test over biochem. I really need to get an A on it, but I haven't even started studying that much so we will see how that turns out. Also, today at 5 I have a final formal lab report to turn in. I am over half way done, but now I just can't focus. I am really coming to the point of despising school. At least this year. My GPA is so going to suffer. :(
In other news, I am starting working at the greenhouse on Thursday :) Yay extra money! I needed another job to help pay for my Mexico trip! I'm super stoked! And so begins the hourly countdown to summer: 46 HOURS LEFT!!!!!!!!!!
This is the first thing I want to do with my summer! Go to Red Velvet with my bestest friend in the entire world! KARASINO! I haven't called her that in forever lol :) (It's really Karasyn)
