I found these two candlestick holders and a set of four class Corelle plates all for $1.76!!! Woo thrift stores!!! :)
So I started school again yesterday. My schedule is pretty full on Wednesdays, but it will be fine :) Two of my classes are very exciting (Zoology and Plant Form). Then, of course, Organic II. Ew. But I am still feeling better about it than I had last semester. I mean, if I can pull off an A- last semester when half the time I was completely unprepared for classes and tests, this semester will be fine if I can just simply keep on top of it. I just can't ever take a break. I have to study every single day.
Last night after church I went to Applebee's, which was fun, but it will not be acceptable after last night. I can't be out until midnight every week. I have to be productive. So it nice and all to think, oh I'm not going to procrasinate this semester, but here are some things I am doing to combat my procrastinator tendencies!
1. I have writen down every important test/assignment date in my planner ahead of time. Right now I'm thinking that I should give myself little goals for them too, but I have never been good at listening to myself. As long as I can see a timeline of my assignments and how they compare to my other classes I think I will be fine :)
2. Organization!!! I bought a notebook and folder for each class. Last semester my papers started getting all jumbled because I bought those notebooks with the folders and that was all I used. This semester I bought three subject notebooks for each class and a folder to go with it.
3. Use my planner! Everyone at Drury gets a free planner and it is very useful. I am using it to write down homework and suggestions for what/how to study.
I am hoping very much that this semester is better than last semester. I think it will be, but don't fret. I will keep you posted ;)
