day five

My sibling....

Well, I have one little brother, Brandon who is twelve and in the seventh grade. I do not get along great with him because him and I just love to bicker too much! Our parents hate it of course. I hope that in our adult years we will be close. I have tried to grow closer by taking him out and stuff. It's one of my biggest fears that when we grow up we will never talk and we will never get together on the holidays.

More about him, though:

~He plays piano.
~He plays trumpet.
~He plays football, and just the other day he had his first injury, a broken finger.
~He watches Chuck every monday night.
~He went through a stage where he was afraid our house was going to catch on fire while we were sleeping and hewould cry every night before he went to sleep.
~He is absolutely AMAZING with animals. He would be a great veterinarian, but I think he would give up too quickly.
~He would make a good Aeronautical Engineer.
~He has a pretty rad sense of style.
~Last, but not least, he also is very smart, but I would have to say his best subject is math.

day four

My parents:

Well, my parents are pretty funny people and I love them very much. :)

My mother, Sandee, is a bus driver for a nearby town. I could never do her job. She loves kids, and kids kind of get on my nerves sometimes. She always kind of wanted to be a teacher, but her parents never encouraged her to go to college. She would have been a great teacher, but she has been driving a bus for over 20 years. It's nice because she gets all major holidays off with my brother and I and summer and also, we never had to go to a daycare but for the hour she was actually on the bus. We were home with her all day. She taught me to read even before kindergarten and has put me through years of music lessons. I appreciate her support so much!!!

My dad, Larry, is a truck driver. He has only been doing it for a year, and the last year has been pretty trying for our family. My dad also has a degree in automotive technology and is my personal mechanic :) He is also my movie buddy. Although I don't get to see my dad a lot, his times home are very nice. Growing up he was always the discplinary parent and although it seemed horendous at the time, I am very greatful for my parents discipline because looking at other young children I know, I am glad my parents never let me act that disrespectful or rude.

Some joke that if my mom's a bus driver and my dad's a truck driver, that since i work at a funeral home, i will be a hearse driver!! We have now affirmed that will never happen because i am like 156% sure they will never allow me to get in the hearse let alone drive it, because I wrecked our work van a couple of weeks ago. It's getting fixed, but i won't ever drive it again!

Well, I must get on to my next day to be all caught up!

day three

My first love:

Well, I love Jesus with all my heart and before him, there was none other although lots of my friends would like to say that there was Blair Brown. ICK!!! I can't believe I ever liked him, and he kind of disappeared off the face of the earth. ANYWAY!

I'm not sure boy-wise, who my first love is. I haven't ever had a boyfriend, so I can't say that there has ever been love. I hope to find that person some day, though. I mentioned this in day one, about my future husband and all the qualities I want. I will keep you posted on the first love thing as it comes along.

On a slightly less serious note, I am "married" to my best friend's little brother, Ryan. Lol :) You can read all about him here: http://iloveyouandialwayswill.blogspot.com/

One day when we were on our Florida trip we were eating at Ryan's (ironic, right?) and Karasyn said, "Aw! My brother is so adorable in his glasses!" (he doesn't normally wear glasses) and I said "He is pretty adorable!" and our friend Tyler who was sitting with us said, "If you think he's so adorable, why don't you marry him?"

Well I just thought that would be a grand idea because then Karasyn and I could be sisters-in-law!! So I told Ryan that we were getting married and he was all, "Ok, cool." So that's how it happened! The end.

Challenge Day 2

Well, I decided to go ahead and join the rest and try to catch up! SO!!!!! Here goes day two:

What does your blog name mean?!?!?!?!? Dun, dun, dun....

Well, first of all, I just discovered that my blog name doesn't even appear on my blog! For those of you who don't know, it Depressing Hilarity.

My original intentions were to blog about my crazy experiences at the funeral home, which gives us the depressing part, for the funeral home, but hilarity is just a fun word and Karasyn and I like to use fun words. Like WRETCHED or BLASPHEMY. they are top on our list. I recently discovered the word MEANDOR :) I like it!!!!

So anywho, that's the name!

Challenge Day 2

copy cat and Day 1 of the Challenge

So I am totally copying Karasyn in the 30 Day Blog Challenge....I'm not quite sure if I should catch up to where they are, or just lag beghind. I'm thinking lagging.....

Anywho I can't start this sucker until I get home, because I am at work and do not have any recent pictures of myself available. WAIT! FACEBOOK!!! That picture was taken in a van on the way to Branson but I don't actually wear glasses. They are my mom's 8 )

HELLO!!! My name is Brianna Rachelle Cline and I am a freshman at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. My life isn't too exciting, but occasionally my best friend, Karasyn, and I have grand adventures :D

Ok....so here are 15 facts about the wonderment that is myself!!!

One: The most important fact: I am a C. I am a C-H. I am a C-H-R-I-S-T-I-A-N. hehe :) That's a song.... but i am proud to say that I have faithfully went to church my entire life!! My whole family attends Antioch United Methodist Church and up until recently I did too. I am now attending Broadway Baptist and I LOVE it!!!!!

Two: I am majoring in Biology at Drury and I aspire to be an ophthalmologist. I am completely terrified that it will be too hard for me and I will want to give up because I have wanted to do this since fifth grade. Also, everybody tells me that "Oh you will change your major at least three times" But I don't want to!!!

Three: I have had the most odd first jobs. My first job was at a family owned greenhouse. I knew the owners and it was easy to get on, but it was hard work. Enjoyable, but hard. And very hot. My most recent job is at a locally owned funeral home. Yes that's right. FUNERAL home. It is NOT as creepy as it sounds, just different. It takes a special kind of person to work at a funeral home. It's not for the insensitive or faint of heart. You have to be somewhere in the middle. I do a lot of office work and cleaning. That's about it. Not much interaction with the actual dead people. Plus, they aren't much for conversation. Who knew?

Four: My bestest friend in THE ENTIRE WORLD is Karasyn Lindsey :) I have known her since kindergarten, although it's interesting that we absolutely loathed each other until about middle school. We have had so many fun adventures and excursions I can't name them all, but the one that tops all the others is when we got to see THE JONAS BROTHERS!!!!!! It was fantastic!!! Also, we are planning on a super fun getaway to Branson over winter break!!

Five: As stated before, I love all thing Jonas! WooHoo! You can say i'm immature, but I just love good wholesome entertainment. Wow. I sounded like a commercial :) They are soo cute too!

Six: I have two wonderful, supportive parents and one, very adorable little brother. My mom and Dad have raised me in church and taught me to be a faithful person and hard worker. I appreciate them so much more than I can show. :) My little brother is very hyper and only 12. Need I say more? lol

Seven: I watch Days of Our Lives devoutly! It's a sin, I know. I am addicted!!

Eight: Speaking of addictions, I am also addicted to Diet Coke! My second favorite drink is a pumpkin spice frappaccino!

Nine: My favorite season is BY FAR autumn! I love the pumpkins and scarecrows and Halloween and Thanksgiving and the trees changing colors!!!

Ten: I play the violin and the piano. I have played piano for about 14 years and I give lessons and I have played the violin since sixth grade, so about 8 years. I am currently playing in the Drury Chamber Orchestra and the Springfield-Drury Civic Orchestra, which is way more enjoyable than Springfield Youth Symphony.

Eleven: I am very emotional. Well, not so much like bouncing back and forth, but inside my head, there is always some kind of drama. I can hide my feelings well for the most part, but if I am mad you will know it.

Twelve: I am still looking for "Mr. Right." Sometimes I get really discouraged about this, but I have seen people I really care for make the mistake of forfeiting their standards in a mate and I DO NOT want to make this mistake. I want my husband to be a great Christian, which includes being pure, and be able to lead me in my walk with God. I also want him to be a gentleman and open doors for me and put his arm around me, but be respectful in public and not be too affectionate in front of others. I also want my future husband to love and be great with kids and he must have a sense of humor and laugh at my outlandish behavior but tell me in a loving way when it has gotten out of hand. I want him to be taller than me for sure, but that is like my only physical requirement, and even that can be compromised. I want hime to love me for me, not try to change me, appreciate the little things in life and remind me of them, to help me plant flowers in the spring, to go to church with me and sit next to me, to emjoy my company and I, his, to love my family and friends and get along with them, to support me financially, spiritually, and emotionally in my endeavors to become a doctor and finally he must love God with all his heart and have prayed his whole life for me and know that God has brought us together <3

Thirteen: My mother's mother, or Hottie Grandma, as she is widely known, is the coolest thing since colored staples (which are pretty darn cool in my book)! I might talk about her later, but for now just know that she is cool and you wish she was your Grandmother!

Fourteen: My cousin, Kristy, died when I was in sixth grade. I learned a lot from her life. She had a beautiful little girl out of wedlock which I learned at this young age, is wrong and was completely crushed upon learning that she had. She was kind of a role model until that point, but I see that it wasn't her fault, that there are familial issues that led her to this, but anyway I also learned to be a safe driver so that my mom never will have to go through that. I understand I have no say as to when I die, but I do not want my mom to go through that ever. It was bad enough with a niece.

Fifteen: I'm not sure what to add, but a last interesting fact is that my friend Rochelle is getting married to the love of her life and I get to play for their wedding!!! To me, this is very exciting news!!!! YAY!!!

Well this is going to be an interestingly fun 30 days!!! I am very excited for it, and who knows, I may just learn something about myself in the process!!!

12.10.10

I'm going on vacation!!!

I am so exhausted!!!! Everyday I am going going going. I am tired and cranky and I need a break. Fall break will not suffice because I have to work that whole weekend. Ugh! Sometimes I REALLY hate my job because I feel like I have to be an adult and nobody realizes that I am still just a kid and I need some down time. I just can't do everything!!!!! So here's my plan! I am going out of town once this semester is over! I will probably go to Branson. I am saving my money now to get a nice hotel room in a nice part of town and I am going to go shopping and go to see the Baldknobber's and probably stay out late to get ice cream or maybe even go mini golfing! Who knows!? I just don't think my mom will let me go alone. I hope Karasyn can come with me :) I probably won't do this until December so I don't have to worry about anything. I really do need this though.

On another note, I just saw a segment on the news questioning whether monogamy is natural or reasonable or not! HECK YES IT IS!!! It is completely reasonable to be married to ONE person and be with them forever. You know why??? CAUSE GOD CREATED MARRIAGE THAT WAY! That should be good enough. This should not even be questioned!!! It irks me to think that this world is not only going against God's rule of marriage in the fact that it is between one man and one woman, but now they are questioning whether it is reasonable for the one man and woman to be exclusive in marriage?! I don't know about you, but I would absolutely NOT want to think my future husband thought it was ok to be married to more than one woman! That's why marraige is SACRED!!!!! It is a SACRAMENT!!!! Goodness gracious!!!!!!!! MARRIAGE IS BETWEEN ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN FOR A LIFETIME!!! NO MATTER WHAT!!!! (now i understand there are certain circumstances such as abuse or death for divorce and getting remarried, but I'm not talking about that) If you can't tell, I was extremely disturbed by the fact that they even questioned it.

Well, now that I have let all of my rant out, I guess I will go get ready cause I have to go to my grandma's house to get pictures for a party. Then work. Fun fun.

Well goodbye! :d that is a smilee licking it's lips!!!
