unpreparedness....if that's even a word.

so i hate chemistry. i didnt like it in high school and i hate it in college. especially lab. it SUCKS!! So i feel like my high school chemistry teacher did me NO favors. I didn't learn anything! Now I am stuck in chemistry and i can't function. It is pretty darn wretched. It's not that it's a hard class, it is just that my professor doesn't explain anything and expects us to know it. I guess that's college for you though. I guess I just need to study more.

On a side note. i am super excited for tomorrow! karasyn and kristi and i are having lunch at Lucy's and it's funny cause right as I am typing this i am listening to a song titled "Lucy" by the Hanson's.

Listening to the Hansons reminds me of my cousin, Kristy. Which is another coincidence since I am going with a different Kristi tomorrow.

It's like a cycle i guess.....

Anywho, I have been quite addicted to the internet lately and I must get off and be semi-productive....

On another note, last night was really fun!! I went to Applebee's after church. I was afraid that it would be a little awkward cause I'm not like super close friends with everyone that went, but it was REALLY fun :) I am really glad that I chose to go to Broadway. I am really loving it there.

Not that I didn't love everyone at Antioch. I don't want them to think that. It was just that I wasn't getting anything out of going. I love everyone there, it just wasn't filling me spiritually.

But I am getting a lot out of the messages and I am actually getting involved playing in our praise band. It's actually pretty great.

Well, I am very excited for tomorrow. It's Friday! Half of my classes are cancelled and I am having lunch with my bestest friend in the entire world!! YAY!!!!!!! I have to work, but let's just hope we don't have anything so I can study. . .

meetings, concerts, and laundry

So today i had a meeting for the Drury Commuter Student Association and it went well, except for the fact that nobody showed up. It's kind of annoying to start a group, when nobody knows about it, but in future years, I think that the groupd will be pretty successful. I hope.


So, now i am waiting to go to school for our Chamber Orchestra Concert tonight and my dad gets to come!! Also, I think that tonight, my family is going out to dinner before he has to leave. I have some homework to do, but NO ALPHA tomorrow!!! WOO HOOO!!!

Right now I have to do laundry. ICK!!!! I hate doing laundry.

On another note, I love the new show, Hawaii Five-O! It's action packed and AWESOME!!! Not to mention that the guy is in it is super duper cute!!!! Oh and don't forget Days of Our Lives!!!


Well, anyway. I am going to meet my grandparents for lunch so I am going to go now.

i feel like a bad person

so today was an absolutely AMAZING day!!!! it was beautiful and i was actually productive on my breaks AND i got to watch Days of our good 'ole Lives :)

I thought this day couldn't be bad in any way.

My mom made dinner and we are going to wal-mart. :)

Well, then i read this thing, and it made me all depressed and jealous and hopless and i threw a big 'ole pity party...... BOO HOO :'( [that was my face]

Any who when i got to the bottom it kind of spoke to me and told me that everything would be ok. so anywho, i had a really great dream last night and maybe for now that is all i have (cause in dreams everything goes your way) but one of these days i will find it. hopefully......

Therefore, I am cutting this blog short and getting to work RIGHT NOW!!! ........hehe. NOT!!!

After reading an article on Yahoo! about lucky people, I have decided that as of right now I am not going to focus on negative things, but the positive! Positively!!!! +++++++ (Those are positive symbols so I thought I would throw them in! :D)

Also, I am UBER happy that fall is approaching!!! :D I am excited for the leaves to turn pretty fall-esque colors and my mom is getting out our fall decorations tonight!!! Yippee!!! Also, I love pumpkins!!! Not just pumpkins, but jack-o-lanterns, and pumpkin scented candles and anything pumpkin flavored!!! Such as pumpkin pie, pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin spice frapaccinos, pumpkin scones, pumpkin seeds, pumpkin bars, and don't forget the ultimate pumpkin treat!!!! The Pumpkin Pie Concrete from Andy's!!!!!!!! AH! I can't wait for the season to start!!! I love the weather, the colors, the EVERYTHING!!! And fall houses my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving!!! :) Yes, it's better than Christmas. Christmas is stressful with worrying if you forgot a person's gift and the weather isn't as B-E-A-utiful!!! But at my house, Thanksgiving is exactly like Christmas, except without the hassle of presents! Well, if you haven't guessed it, I am SUPER DUPER EXCITED FOR AUTUMN!!!!

There are officially 6 days left of summer!!!! Use them well 'cause once they're gone, it's FALL!!!

Halloween on the Brain.....

I love the Halloween episode of Rugrats!!!! It's got to be one of my favorites!!!!!! I had a dream last night that my cakes turned out awesome and I even used orange and purple food coloring to make the cake different colors :) It's going to be great!!!!

Well, I will probably be posting tonight as well because I have to work.

Short day today!!! Only two hours this morning and one this afternoon. Three hours in between. I think my Mom and I are going to lunch!!! :)

Another word I like is calamity!!! It reminds me of clammy though... :/

Thursdays....

Have a habit of being bad and stressful. First of all, lab is uber stressful! GAH!! And then it rains, or then I get some stupid letter in the mail saying I owe $100 to the bank, or then there is a hair in my muffin, or some waiter spills water on me or a pteradactyl poops on my car or a demon barber cuts my head off. Oh, you get my point.

Anywho, today was not one of those Thursdays. It started off with my mother and I having breakfast and going thrift store shopping. Then I went to my lab at noon and ended an hour early!! I also went to Hillcrest to see about my scholarship and talked to Mrs. Barnhouse :)

Also I am getting so freakin excited for Halloween and my costume/party! Oh my goodnee!!!!!

I really hope we can have this party and I hope everyone else's day was as good as mine!!!!
