This says it all! :)

Today....

I have accomplished my goal for the weekend!!! I finished my spanish homework AND read ahead so I can be prepared for my lab this Thursday.

I also have gotten my "hottie" grandma and grandpa their Grandparent's Day gift and am TOTALLY PSYCHED for my friends to meet them tonight!! lol

It will be the epitomy of hilarity! HAHA!!!

My meme (AKA hottie grandma) is a HOOT!!!

Anywho, I am currently at the funeral home and I have finished everything that needed to be done.

Just to clarify, my job does not include embalming people. I do things like clean the bathrooms, update our website, print off memorial folders, and the occasional load of laundry. I have little to NO contact with the dead people.

As for today, I have done a lot of answering the phones and doing spanish homework.

So far my classes haven't been to bad and I haven't had much homework at all, but I don't think this will last long... Who knows?

As for other things going on in my life, it's pretty dull. Nothing exciting, such as drama or fights. I love that actually. It's mostly because my friends are pretty well awesome!! They are the best! And my family has been pretty darn cool, too.

My life is just filled with blessings that FAR outweigh my troubles.

Well, I should probably get to work......(hehe)

I am looking forward to a great week and an awesome night!!!

COLLEGE!!! EEEP!

So, college is different.... There are a lot of things that I miss, such as;

-seeing my best friend every day

-having every body understand my jonas brother obsession

-bringing my jonas brother lunch box to school

-classes being in one (or two) buildings

-school being less than a mile away from my house

-not needing an umbrella

-having plenty of time in between classes

-did i mention i miss school being FREE!!!!

Although I really miss these things there are certain things that I do not miss at all;

-i don't miss being with students who couldn't care less about school at all....

- i like being "independent"

-i actually study now!!!

well... now that list making is done I am going to rant about something that has been on my mind lately.................I have been really discouraged about being single. I just really want someone that i can talk to about anything and someone who wants to be with me all the time. someone that really cares about me and my future.... I just don't know anymore. Everyone says; oh there is someone out there for you, well where in the world is he?!?!?! I am sick of this hopeless feeling.......I thought college would be different but i'm not thinking so.....

OMG!!!

Ok! This is the most exciting one yet!!!

My grandmother GAVE me her Primary Color bowls!!!!! She had yellow, red and blue and then she said that if i could find the green one at a flea market

SHE WOULD PAY FOR IT!!!!

I am SO PSYCHED!!!! YAY!!!!

Anyway, I still don't have those pictures but I now have kitchen towels that sort of match what I have so they will be going on here as well.

Correction Numero Dos

Well, after serious and intensive research (GOOGLE!) I have discovered that the "F" that appears on the bottom of my orange bowl set actually is for Federal not Fire King, as Fire King glassware actually has the words Fire King Spelled out.

Just so you know!

Correction.

So those orange bowls that my mom bought me (in which she said they were pyrex) were actually Fire King bowls in which are still very cute and vintage-y. :)

Also, my brother and I were at a flea market today and we found a set of them but they were $24!! My mom got a good deal. Well anyway my brother found a matching coffee mug to match the bowls for 50 cents! but there was only one so i bought another one at a different booth for three bucks.

My New Direction

Due to the fact that my life is in no way interesting or exciting, I have decided to stop talking just about my life but about my recent desire of finding treasured possessions amongst previously owned items ( AKA: flea market shopping). I am starting a hope chest of things that I will be using when I move out. I have already started a collection of which I will present photos soon, because i currently do not have them with me and i don't know how to upload pictures on here, but mostly because i don't have them or my camera right now.

Anywho, Karasyn and I made a trip to the flea market friday where i found the lovely bargain of a Butterfly Gold Pyrex Casserole Dish for the highly attractive price of $4!!!

Also, my wonderful Hottie Grandma has graciously offered her Pyrex Primary Color set to me as a gift!!!! I am so enitrely psyched!!!!

So anyway I also have a yellow flowerpot in the shape of a watering can and a yellow salsa dish for my collection. And my most recent encounter (which i haven't actually encountered yet) is a set of four orange Pyrex cereal bowls which my mother found for only $6! I have yet to see it but i am also extremely excited. I will be posting pictures soon and will also be updating you on my adventures as i come across them.

My biggest fear is that i will clumsily break them, which would be a wretchedly dreaded experience. Well, I will let you know how this whole "Hope Chest" thing works out. Meanwhile I will scurry to some more flea markets!
