well, my birthday has been a most joyous occasion. Friday was sooooo much fun with my bestest friend, Karasyn. We went to Neighborhood (one of our usual haunts hehe ) and Karasyn gave me this lovely book that gives 100 cake recipes with one cake mix. i'm so excited to start. this will give me something to do for a very long time :) then we went to Red Velvet (probably the most popular haunt) and Karasyn bought her first ever vintage dress and it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOo pretty!!! also, we saw jeremy larson there and it was grand times had by all, except for the cupcakes we devoured :) hehe OH! and i tried bubble tea for the first time. it was strange, but overall pretty good. afterward, we went to karasyn's house and her mom gave me the CUTEST little desk set complete with a memo pad, journal and MATCHING PENS!!!!!!!!!!! Then the fun times ended 'cause I had to go to work. :( but they had a cute little cake for me there!
Saturday we got up really early (for a saturday at least) cause Brandon had solo and ensemble contest, which went really well. then we went to mcdonalds to get breakfast and then we were going to take the boys home and then go to the tea room, but our plans were postponed because at mcdonalds we ran into my dad's long lost cousin and he never shut up! we ended up not being able to eat at the tea room until like noon which was good. then after the tea room we went to the Ozark Goodwill!!!! YAY!!! My favorite :) :) :)
Then we went home and picked up the boys and went to branson. overall a very fun filled day :D
today i am very happy cause i got to go to church this morning and small groups. i love my small group so much. i feel like i have gotten pretty close to a lot of them.
after small groups i went to Aldi's to pick up groceries for my mom and now i am waiting for them to get out of church so we can go out to eat :)
at 3 i have rehearsal for the jeremy larson show and then church at 6 and my party afterward. my family is coming over. i wish my friends could come :( but my mom said the house would be too crowded and both of my grandmothers are loud enough already that we don't need extra people, so we will have to do something another time. oh well :)
i am just really having a great week and i hope everyone else is too.
on another note, please keep Jared, the youth minister at broadway in you prayers. He lost a finger while playing a game at church with the youth. It's going to be a big adjusment for him. Also, Erik, a guy from our small group is leaving tuesday for basic training. I hate to make this into a big prayer concern blog, but also, if you didn't know, Darnell Green (Doriel's brother, i have no clue how to spel either of their names) just found out this week that he has leukemia. These people could really use prayers, a free way to lend your support!
