music and weddings

so today has been a big bowl of bore. seriously. i have done nothing. i cleaned a couple of bathrooms and vacuumed the chapel. like what else can i do? i have been on facebook all day and i have been reading random blogs.

when i was cleaning for like two seconds, i listened to my iPod which was set to Frank Sinatra :)

the song that came on was "The Way You Look Tonight"

i have concluded that this is going to be the first dance song at my wedding reception! :) i have been on a wedding kick lately if you haven't figured that one out. anyway, it is so sweet and perfect for a wedding, but my dilema is that i don't know if i wan't to use the original Frank Sinatra version or the Michael Buble version? The Michael Buble version is a better tempo, but there is a certain charm that Sinatra's version has. and i like the accompaniment better too. i am not quite sure.

anywho, this is what i have done all day. i have two papers i have to write, but no, i made a playlist for my wedding reception. it's not even like i foresee a wedding in the near future, but i just thought it would be a good idea. oh well. i have begun the playlist so when it comes time for my future husband to propose i will say "don't worry about the music or dj for our reception, honey. i got that one covered already!" lol i'm sure he will be very concerned about that. the good thing is that i don't have enough songs for the whole thing so we can put our favorites together :) i can't wait to plan a wedding and a life with another person! i know that right now school should be my focus but it's kind of coming in second place right now even though i have no immediate plans for a wedding or a husband for that matter. oh well. in life, my husband will have to come before my job anyway, so i am just getting good practice.

i can't even begin to express how excited i am for that day. the day in which a girl is supposed to be her prettiest and cute pictures get taken every 5 seconds to document the day :) and that my bestest friend and family helps me to get ready for the rest of my life. some guys just don't get it. they don't see that this is the day that every girl in the whole world dreams of her whole life. and no, ryan, i'm not talking about you lol :)

"every girl deserves a happily ever after" <3

i am officially in love with weddings. maybe it's not even the concept of getting married to the love of your life, but just the event that is a wedding. they are cute and pretty and elegant and the most monumental day in a person's life. and i can't wait!

i kind of want a christmas-y wedding. maybe between thanksgiving and christmas, but that season is too busy. maybe summer. so our honeymoon could be somewhere exotic. i would like to go out of the country. maybe spain. deffinitely somewhere they spoke spanish so we could half-way get around. i think it would be the best excursion in the history of excursions.

i can't wait for church tonight. like i REALLY can't wait. i am going insane!!! i can't stand this place much longer. it is really boring. the thing is i have a million things to do, but half of them i can't do because we don't have the computer and the other half i have no will to do therefore i will wait until the last minute to do them.

anyway, if you haven't listened to that song, mentioned before, please, please, PLEASE listen. it's the sweetest!!!!
